Listened to the song “Megam Karukkudhu” from Aanandha Raagam after a long time. A fabulous song, stunning in its simplicity. Hats off to Ilaiyaraja!

If you notice, a few seconds are chopped off at the beginning of the song.
It contains a short dialogue, spoken by Yesudas and Janaki (NOT Sivakumar and Radha). It is a sweet exchange, especially because we have never heard them uttering dialogues. You can catch it here though.
The dialogue is as follows.
SJ: “ஏன் நிறுத்திட்டீங்க? பாட்டு ரொம்ப நல்லா இருக்கு. இன்னொரு தரம் பாடுங்களேன்.”
KJY: “அது… அது வந்து… இந்த பாட்டு எதுக்கு உங்களுக்கு?”
SJ: “பாட்டு ரொம்ப நல்லா இருக்கு… கேட்கணும் போல ஆசையா இருக்கு… பாடுங்கன்னா!”
btw Nan kadavul pathutya??..Its awesome…re recordingna ilayarajannu once again prove pannitaar..to me its the most original-hard hitting Tamil film ever made…
