So, whats the lesson we got to take from that quote ?
That’s one depressing thought!
GD, the context that the quote was made in was this. Companies should be run with the sole intention of making money for their shareholders. If anything else becomes the (primary) concern of the company, it distracts the company and diverts it from its reason for existence. Efficiencies get impacted and profits take a downturn.
