Google Calendar now syncs with Outlook
Posted on March 7th, 2008 by Vijay Krishna Narayanan
This is another piece of great news from Google. Their calendar app, which I have found very useful, can now sync with Outlook. I had sent this in as a feature request some time ago (I guess many others would have done so too), and am glad to see it has been implemented.
The most recent version of Thunderbird still does not have Calendar support. Would be great if the folks at Mozilla get working on it, so we could all move from Outlook to Thunderbird.

Does Google has any plans to come out with MS Project kind of software platform working in online and to share that with others like the Google Docs ??
Learnt, they might buy Zoho.
MS Project is very heavy.
No idea, but you can check out Zoho Projects, which is quite good too.
You can use Thunderbird and sync with Google Calendar too. Install the Lightning and Provider extensions. It’s pretty simple to set up, but you’ll find more information on how to install and get them to work if you google it.
Thejo, that was awesome! The install was a breeze. Thanks a lot!
