It seems to me that in the affair concerning IIPM and us bloggers, we have been really unfair to the institute and its founder, Mr. Arindam Chaudhuri. We have been maligning them left, right and centre, without understanding the nature of the service that they have rendered to us. And this comes from someone who was extremely critical of them, till realisation dawned on me.Instead of being uncharitable, we must actually thank Mr. Chaudhuri and his institute (and all those newbie sploggers) for bringing India’s bloggers together. Through a series of smart moves, Mr. Chaudhuri is helping engineer a social revolution in India. Who, other than a man of his intellectual ability and vision, can help us realise the great Indian dream?
My heartfelt thanks to you, Mr. Chaudhuri. India’s blogging community owes a lot to you!

Hey, thanks for the links and what you said is true, without the Ponytail Indian bloggers would have been a bunch of disparate stories. I’ve been blogging too much on this issue though and I’ll take a break from this entire thing now. Back to regular nonsensical blogging I say.

I think we are wasting our precious time and energy on someone who doesn’t remotely deserve this kind of attention. But the whole affair has been an amusing one. This might end up as Mr. Chaudhuri’s solitary claim to fame.

I just checked out Technorati.com. IIPM has climbed to number 2 on their list of top searches.
Needless to say, their next set of ads will scream “Ranked higher than all b-schools in the world, by Technorati”

For an avg indian, a blogger is someone who has no socail life and thus prefers to be in his PJs at home and typing out his thoughts. SO guys like IIPM think that they can take them on easily and never expect such a response.

I am fascinated with the developments that has been happening inn the blogging industry of India. One of these days, it can already be a force and can compete with the best of the world. I guess life without blogging is not life at all in India.
