Easy, isn’t it? To mock at people in the public domain? To espouse morality selectively to praise those we like and to deride those we hate? Or is are they people we dream about, and only that? Because our own prejudices and fear of society compels us to lead a life we aren’t content with?

Why should we tie morality with anything? Plus if the addition of the term “art” pushes Mallika down the moral ladder, what kind of morality are you talking about?

The comparison is unwarranted. I never said anything about the world’s oldest profession. In any case, they don’t claim it to be an art, rite?

Also, I never said anything about the acting profession. If people wanted to be amoral, then let them be that way – why say, I’m doing this so that I can bring Indian cinema to the world. Thanks, ma’m, we can do without you.
